Vol. 16 N.º 2, TD3 (2026): Rule of Law, Human Rights, and Institutional Transformation in Times of Global and National Challenges
This special issue is coordinated by the research team of the Eastern European Union of Scientists of Ukraine. The issue focuses on contemporary transformations of legal systems under conditions of war, digitalization, globalization, and societal change. The collected articles explore theoretical and applied dimensions of the rule of law, judicial reform, human rights protection, constitutionalism, criminal justice, environmental liability, and economic regulation, with particular attention to Ukraine’s experience in a comparative European and international context. Special emphasis is placed on institutional resilience, public trust in justice, the impact of digital and algorithmic governance, international humanitarian and environmental law, and post-war recovery challenges. By integrating national and international legal perspectives, this special issue aims to contribute to the scholarly discourse on legal adaptation, accountability, and sustainable development in times of crisis and transformation.
